She was overweight lived sedentary life having inherited so much wealth and assets took early retirement died at 52 years. Reading and watching Nollywood films were her hobbies as stated on her funeral programme. Retired early before 50 what next? Let's focus on excessive weight gain for now before we get distracted with wealth and idleness.  

Facts: About Overweight  & Portion Sizes

-At 30+ your metabolism slows down -eat sensibly to cut calories in order to lose weight.

- eat food with sufficient fiber, include protein (chicken & lean meat), iron rich food (unripe plantain,dark green vegetables )

- Drink a glass of warm water before and after every meal to flush the system and speed up metabolism. Avoid coke, fanta, malta/maltex full of sugar and caffeine that bloats you up and slows down metabolism.    

- Exercise contributes to 20% of weight loss, if you keep to a healthy balanced diet of all the 5 food groups, 80 % weight loss will be achieved.  

- Watch your portion Sizes, bigger portion equates more calories intake.

It is possible to eat right and exercise regularly, problem is we are LAZY!!!

I Woke Up All Geared To Face A Very Energetic Class

BODY CONDITIONING class targets all the major problem areas in your body. Notably are:

Tummy- after loading all the food & drink.

 

Bingo Wings- that ugly grandmma flabby arms....ops!!!๐Ÿ˜Ž

 

Love handles- Haba! Is it not spare Tyres by the sides hanging loosely?

 

Legs- Fat Thunder Thigh & Legs need toning. Regular exercise will keep it nice and trim.

Metabolism Slows With Age

Rev up and exercise.

Walk, run in the park, climb up stairs, leave the lifts alone. These will shift midlife weight gain, tone the body, make you feel firmer and have more energy.

You don't necessarily have to go to gym as exercise can be done anywhere. Our problem is laziness you will agree is the truth. 

I hardly See Our People In The Gym Class

Occasionally, they will appear then quickly disappear for months lacking motivation. I was the only black person in the class today.  Someone I know with serious weight problem said she's covered in the blood of Jesus nothing will happen to her. Indeed, I pray so too but when the weight is so severe she can hardly walk plus the warnings from the doctor, isn't it time for her to realise that perhaps blood of Jesus might just not be enough to shift the weight?
