Rural Walk Retreat Takes Me To Kent Countryside.

On Board The Train At Orpington Station, Kent .

From social walk in central London I am back to green walk in Kent. Consider it escape from noisy city life to peace and quiet of the countryside to explore rolling hills, enjoy bird songs and plod around uneven landscapes.

And there is a particular flavour to it-  you get to see and feel the tranquillity of rural life as you walk across grasslands, woodlands, parks, unfamiliar motorways, busy roads, pathways, public greens, and country lanes we often drive past.

Boring domestic chores can wait for now. Sunny Saturday is calling for outdoor activity. Unless you are watching Wimbledon Tennis Tournament on the telly, you'll be excused. The weather couldn't be nicer, warm and breezy to cool off.

I wore a short lured by the sun - insects bites, scratches on my legs from spiky plants for wearing the wrong clothing instead of trousers. Lesson learned, yet the trip was worth every insect bite and achy legs. #wemove
